Today’s Word
Before King Saul ever called for David, he had already been anointed by the prophet to become king. Though he heard the promise and felt the anointing, he did not step into a palace—he returned to the shepherds’ fields. His surroundings did not match his calling. Yet David understood a powerful truth: God defines identity, not environment.
While tending sheep, he carried himself with excellence. He protected the flock faithfully, developing courage and character in hidden places. The field was preparation, not punishment. In time, when he faced Goliath, the unseen faithfulness became visible victory. He stepped into influence because he had first been faithful in obscurity.
If you feel as though you are in a “shepherd’s field” season, do not allow circumstances to redefine you. Where you are is temporary; who you are in God’s promise is eternal. Remain faithful, keep a noble mindset, and trust that your appointed time will come.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You for the gifts and calling You have placed within me—gifts that no circumstance can remove. Help me remain faithful in every season and trust that You are preparing me for what You have promised. I choose to see myself as You see me and to walk with excellence until the right time arrives. Amen.
Tänane Sõna
Enne kui kuningas Saul Taaveti enda juurde kutsus, oli ta juba prohveti kaudu kuningaks võitud. Ometi ei läinud ta paleesse, vaid tagasi karjamaale. Tema olukord ei vastanud tema kutsumusele. Kuid Taavet mõistis, et Jumal määrab tema identiteedi, mitte keskkond.
Ta teenis ustavalt, kaitses oma karja ja kasvas varjatud aastatel julguses ning iseloomus. Karjamaa oli ettevalmistus, mitte karistus. Kui tuli hetk seista Koljati ees, oli ta valmis.
Kui tunned, et oled praegu “karjamaal”, siis ära lase olukorral oma identiteeti määrata. Ole ustav ja hoia kuninglikku hoiakut. Sinu aeg on tulemas.

پیش از آنکه شائول داوود را فرا بخواند، او بهوسیله نبی برای پادشاهی مسح شده بود. با وجود وعده و مسح، به قصر نرفت؛ بلکه به چراگاه بازگشت. شرایط او با دعوتش همخوانی نداشت، اما داوود میدانست که هویت او را خدا تعیین میکند، نه محیط اطرافش.
او با وفاداری گوسفندان را هدایت کرد و در پنهانی رشد یافت. چراگاه محل آمادهسازی بود، نه مجازات. روزی که با جالوت روبهرو شد، آمادگی سالهای پنهان آشکار گردید.
اگر احساس میکنی اکنون در “چراگاه” هستی، اجازه نده شرایط تو را از وعده خدا دور کند. جایگاه فعلی تو هویت تو نیست. با ذهنیت پادشاهانه بایست؛ زمان تو فرا خواهد رسید.
دعای امروز
خداوندا، سپاسگزارم برای عطایا و دعوتی که در زندگی من قرار دادهای؛ چیزی که هیچکس نمیتواند از من بگیرد. کمکم کن در هر فصل زندگی وفادار بمانم و به وعدههای تو اعتماد کنم. اعلام میکنم که بهترین خود را ارائه خواهم داد تا به برکتی که برایم آماده کردهای برسم. آمین.
