Today’s Word: “Did You Not?”
In the Old Testament, God’s people would begin their prayers in times of trouble by recalling who God is and what He had done for them in the past.
This is what King Jehoshaphat did when three armies surrounded Judah. He prayed:
“O Lord, You are powerful and mighty, and no one can stand against You.”
He reminded God of the past victories—and that remembrance ignited their faith.
You have your own “Did You not?” moments:
- Did You not bring me through that illness?
- Did You not open that door when all others were shut?
- Did You not send provision when I had nothing?
Look back with gratitude. Look forward with trust.
When you remember how God delivered you before, it builds your confidence that He will do it again.

“God, thank You for every time You have intervened in my life and brought deliverance and helped me defeat what has come against me. Thank You for all the times when You’ve shown me that You are at my side. I bless You that You are my God. Amen.”
🔔 Tänane Sõna: “Eks Sina?”
Vanas Testamendis, kui rahvas seisis silmitsi raskustega, alustasid nad oma palveid meenutades Jumala vägevust ja tänades varasema abi eest.
Nii tegi ka kuningas Joosafat, kui kolm armeed Juudat piirasid. Ta palvetas:
„Issand, Sina oled vägev ja tugev, keegi ei suuda Sulle vastu seista.”
Ta meenutas Jumalale, mida Ta oli teinud. See kinnitas nende usku.
Ka sinul on oma „Eks Sina?” hetked:
- Eks Sina mind tervendasid?
- Eks Sina selle ukse avasid?
- Eks Sina andsid mulle kodu, kui mul polnud midagi?
Tänu mineviku eest tugevdab usku tulevikku.
Jumal, kes aitas sind siis, aitab sind ka nüüd.

„Jumal, tänan Sind iga hetke eest, mil Sa oled mind aidanud, vabastanud ja minu eest võidelnud. Tänan Sind, et oled ikka minu kõrval olnud. Ma õnnistan Sind ja tunnistan Sind oma Jumalana. Aamen.“
🔔 کلام امروز: «آیا تو نبودی؟»
در عهد عتیق، قوم خدا در زمان سختی‌ها دعاهای خود را با یادآوری قدرت خدا و کارهای گذشته‌اش آغاز می‌کردند.
یهوشافاط پادشاه نیز همین کار را کرد، زمانی که سه ارتش یهودا را محاصره کردند. او دعا کرد:
«ای خداوند، تو قادر و توانا هستی و هیچ‌کس نمی‌تواند در برابر تو بایستد.»
او به یاد خدا آورد که چگونه قبلاً نجات داده بود و این ایمان قوم را شعله‌ور ساخت.
تو هم لحظه‌های «آیا تو نبودی؟» داری:
آیا تو نبودی که مرا شفا دادی؟
آیا تو نبودی که راهی گشودی؟
آیا تو نبودی که خانه‌ای برایم فراهم کردی؟
گذشته را به یاد بیاور تا به آینده اعتماد کنی.
همان خدایی که آن زمان همراهت بود، امروز هم هست.

“خداوندا، شکرت برای تمام دفعاتی که در زندگی‌ام مداخله کردی، مرا آزاد ساختی و در برابر دشمنانم به من پیروزی دادی. شکرت برای حضور همیشگی‌ات در کنار من. تو خدای من هستی و تو را می‌ستایم. آمین.”
