Today’s Word
The story of Joseph shows how powerful forgiveness can be. Betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery, Joseph spent many years in hardship far from home. Humanly speaking, he had every reason to become bitter. Yet when the moment came that he could take revenge, he chose a different path. Instead of returning evil for evil, he chose forgiveness.
Joseph understood that holding on to anger would only keep him tied to the past. By forgiving those who wronged him, he allowed God to work freely in his life. That decision demonstrated maturity, trust, and faith. Because Joseph was faithful even when the situation seemed unfair, God elevated him and entrusted him with great responsibility.
Forgiveness is not always easy, especially when someone has truly hurt you. Yet releasing bitterness frees your heart and opens the way for God’s greater purposes. When you choose to do what is right—even when it is difficult—you align yourself with God’s character. Often the greatest breakthroughs come when we respond with grace instead of retaliation.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You for Your mercy and patience toward me. Help me to release resentment and avoid the desire for revenge. Give me a heart that is willing to forgive and to respond with kindness even when it is difficult. Guide me so that my life reflects Your goodness. Amen.

داستان یوسف نشان میدهد که بخشش چه قدرتی دارد. برادرانش او را فروختند و سالها در بردگی و زندان گذراند. از نظر انسانی، او حق داشت که از آنها انتقام بگیرد. اما زمانی که فرصت انتقام فرا رسید، او بخشش را انتخاب کرد.
یوسف فهمید که نگه داشتن خشم فقط او را در گذشته نگه میدارد. با بخشیدن کسانی که به او آسیب رسانده بودند، اجازه داد خدا در زندگیاش آزادانه عمل کند. به همین دلیل خدا او را بالا برد و مسئولیت بزرگی به او سپرد.
بخشش همیشه آسان نیست، اما قلب را آزاد میکند و راه را برای کار خدا باز میکند.

خداوندا، سپاسگزارم برای رحمت و مهربانی تو نسبت به من. کمکم کن قلبی داشته باشم که از کینه و انتقام آزاد باشد. به من قدرت بده تا کسانی را که به من بدی کردهاند ببخشم و با نیکی پاسخ دهم. آمین.
