Today’s Word
Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi were both widows, living in poverty and uncertainty. Each morning, Ruth went into the harvest fields to gather the leftover grain that the workers missed. Boaz, the owner of the field, heard about Ruth’s faithfulness and how she was caring for Naomi. He instructed his workers to intentionally leave extra grain behind so Ruth could gather it easily. Ruth may have thought, “Boaz is showing me favor,” but in reality, it was God showing His goodness. Boaz was simply the resource; God was the source. God was the One stirring Boaz’s heart to bless her.
Every good gift comes from our Father in heaven. Be grateful for the people, opportunities, and resources God uses, but never forget that He is the source behind them all. He is the One who opened doors you could not open, positioned you at the right place at the right time, and caused others to show you kindness. The more you recognize and thank God for His goodness, the more of His goodness you will experience.
Prayer For Today
“God, thank You that You are my source. Thank You that You are always at work in my life, showing me Your goodness through every good gift I receive. Help me to live with a heart full of gratitude and never take Your blessings for granted. Amen.”

روت و مادرشوهرش نعمی هر دو بیوه، فقیر و در تلاش برای بقا بودند. روت هر روز صبح به مزرعه میرفت تا خوشههایی را که کارگران جا گذاشته بودند جمع کند. بوعز، صاحب مزرعه، از وفاداری روت و مراقبت او از نعمی باخبر شد و به کارگرانش دستور داد که عمداً خوشههای بیشتری برای او باقی بگذارند. روت شاید فکر میکرد که بوعز به او لطف میکند، اما حقیقت این بود که این خدا بود که به او نیکویی نشان میداد. بوعز وسیله بود، اما خدا منبع بود. خدا دل بوعز را برانگیخت تا به روت نیکی کند.
هر عطای نیکو از پدر آسمانی ما میآید. برای ابزارها و انسانهایی که خدا به کار میگیرد شکرگزار باش، اما هرگز فراموش نکن که او منبع اصلی است. او درهایی را گشوده که تو نمیتوانستی بگشایی و تو را در زمان و مکان درست قرار داده است. هرچه بیشتر نیکویی خدا را تصدیق کنی، بیشتر آن را در زندگیات خواهی دید.
دعای امروز
«خدایا، سپاسگزارم که تو منبع من هستی. سپاس که پیوسته در زندگی من در حال عمل هستی و نیکویی خود را از طریق هر عطای نیکو به من نشان میدهی. کمکم کن با قلبی سرشار از شکرگزاری زندگی کنم و هرگز نیکویی تو را بدیهی ندانم. آمین.»
