Today’s Word
In 2 Kings 4, a widow faced the unthinkable—no money, overwhelming debt, and creditors coming to take her two sons. When the prophet Elisha told her to gather empty jars and pour her tiny amount of oil into them, it made no logical sense. Yet she humbled herself, obeyed without hesitation, and kept pouring. Her willingness to take those small, seemingly insignificant steps opened the door for a miracle that saved her family.
Obedience often begins quietly, without immediate results. The first steps may feel uncomfortable or even embarrassing, but they activate God’s supernatural provision. As you keep doing what He asks—walking in humility, staying faithful, and refusing discouragement—you position yourself for sudden moments of breakthrough. Healing, promotion, restoration, and divine connections can appear unexpectedly. You are closer to your miracle than you think.

“God, thank You for the gifts, abilities, and resources You have already placed in my life. Thank You that You can take what seems small and make it overflow with abundance. I believe that You are multiplying what I have and revealing Your greatness in my life. Amen.”

در دوم پادشاهان فصل ۴، بیوه‌زنی با بدهی سنگین و تهدید از دست دادن دو پسرش روبه‌رو بود. الیشع نبی به او گفت ظرف‌های خالی از همسایگان جمع کند و مقدار اندک روغنی را که داشت در آن‌ها بریزد. این فرمان منطقی به نظر نمی‌رسید، اما او فروتنانه اطاعت کرد و بدون تردید به ریختن ادامه داد. همین اطاعت ساده دری را به روی معجزه‌ای گشود که خانواده‌اش را نجات داد. اطاعت معمولاً با قدم‌های کوچک آغاز می‌شود؛ قدم‌هایی که شاید نتیجه فوری نیاورند. اما همین قدم‌ها قدرت الهی را فعال می‌کند. وقتی فروتن هستی —شفا، ارتقا، ارتباطات الهی و پیروزی‌ها؛ ناگهان ظاهر می‌شوند. تو به معجزه‌ات نزدیک‌تر از آنی هستی که فکر می‌کنی.

«خداوندا، شکر برای استعدادها، توانایی‌ها و منابعی که از پیش در زندگی‌ام نهاده‌ای. سپاس که می‌توانی چیزی را که اندک به نظر می‌رسد به فراوانی تبدیل کنی. ایمان دارم که آنچه دارم را تکثیر کرده و بزرگی خود را در زندگی‌ام آشکار خواهی کرد. آمین.»
