Today’s Word
When Jesus told Jairus that He would come and pray for his daughter, the situation seemed urgent. Yet along the way, He was delayed. Then the report came: the girl had died. From a human perspective, it was over. But Jesus did not dwell on the negative report. He did not allow doubt to enter His spirit. He continued forward and raised the little girl back to life.
There will be moments when what you are believing for appears delayed. Reports may come that contradict your hope. Voices around you may predict failure. In those seasons, you must guard your heart carefully. What you continually hear and dwell upon shapes your expectation. If you surround yourself with discouragement, your faith will weaken.
Be intentional about who speaks into your life. Limit the influence of those who magnify problems and minimize possibilities. Stay close to people who strengthen your faith, who remind you of God’s promises, and who believe alongside you. Delay is not denial. God still has the final word.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You that You always have the final say over my life. When circumstances seem delayed or negative reports come, help me to guard my heart and mind. Give me wisdom to stay close to those who strengthen my faith and distance myself from discouragement. I choose to believe Your promises and trust that You are working all things for my good. Amen.

Kui Jeesus lubas Jairuse tütre juurde minna, tundus olukord kiireloomuline. Teel aga tekkis viivitus ning tuli teade, et tüdruk on surnud. Inimlikult vaadates näis kõik lootusetu. Kuid Jeesus ei keskendunud negatiivsele sõnumile ega lasknud kahtlusel oma südamesse tulla. Ta läks edasi ja äratas tüdruku ellu.
Ka sinu elus võivad olla hetked, mil see, mille eest sa palvetad, näib viibivat. Võid kuulda sõnumeid, mis ei toeta sinu lootust. Sellisel ajal pead valvama oma südant. See, millel sa peatunud mõtteid hoiad ja keda sa kuulad, mõjutab sinu usku.
Vali teadlikult inimesed, kes tugevdavad sinu usku ja meenutavad Jumala tõotusi. Viivitus ei tähenda eitust. Jumalal on viimane sõna.

Jumal, tänan Sind, et Sinul on minu elu üle viimane sõna. Kui asjad näivad viibivat või kuulen negatiivseid sõnumeid, aita mul hoida oma süda ja meel kindlana. Juhi mind olema koos inimestega, kes tugevdavad mu usku. Ma usaldan, et Sina tegutsed minu heaks. Aamen.

وقتی عیسی به یایروس گفت که به خانهاش خواهد آمد تا برای دخترش دعا کند، وضعیت بسیار فوری به نظر میرسید. اما در راه تأخیر پیش آمد و خبر رسید که دختر مرده است. از نگاه انسانی، همه چیز تمام شده بود. ولی عیسی به گزارش منفی توجه نکرد و اجازه نداد شک وارد روحش شود. او ادامه داد و دختر را زنده کرد.
در زندگی تو نیز ممکن است آنچه برایش ایمان داری، با تأخیر روبهرو شود. ممکن است خبرهایی بشنوی که امیدت را تضعیف کند. در چنین زمانهایی باید از دل خود محافظت کنی. آنچه بر آن تمرکز میکنی و افرادی که به آنها گوش میدهی، بر ایمان تو اثر میگذارد.
آگاهانه کسانی را انتخاب کن که ایمان تو را تقویت میکنند و وعدههای خدا را به یادت میآورند. تأخیر به معنای رد شدن نیست. خدا حرف آخر را میزند.
دعای امروز
خداوندا، سپاسگزارم که تو در زندگی من حرف آخر را میزنی. وقتی شرایط با تأخیر روبهرو میشود یا گزارشهای منفی میشنوم، کمکم کن دلم را حفظ کنم. مرا هدایت کن تا در کنار کسانی باشم که ایمانم را تقویت میکنند. به وعدههای تو اعتماد دارم و میدانم که برای خیر من عمل میکنی. آمین.
