Today’s Word
The prodigal son believed his mistakes had reduced his value. After wasting his inheritance, he returned home rehearsing a speech of unworthiness, expecting rejection. But his father had never stopped watching for him. The moment he appeared, his father ran toward him, embraced him, and restored him fully as a son. His identity had not changed—only his location had.
When we fall, two voices try to speak. One whispers shame: “You’ve failed. Stay away. You’re not worthy.” That voice seeks to distance you from grace. The other voice is gentle but powerful: “Come home. You are forgiven. You are still Mine.” God does not measure your worth by your worst decision. He sees who He created you to be.
If you believe you are unworthy, you may resist the very mercy meant to restore you. But God’s heart is not reluctant—it is welcoming. His mercy is greater than your mistakes. His love is stronger than your failure. Return with humility, and receive what He freely gives: restoration, dignity, and renewed purpose.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You that Your mercy is greater than my failures and that You do not define me by my past. Thank You that I am forgiven and restored through Your grace. Help me to silence the voice of accusation and to listen to Your invitation to come home. I receive Your love and walk forward in renewed confidence. Amen.

پسر گمشده تصور میکرد اشتباهاتش ارزش او را از بین برده است. پس از آنکه میراث پدر را هدر داد، با احساس بیارزشی به خانه بازگشت و انتظار طرد شدن داشت. اما پدرش همیشه چشمبهراه او بود. به محض اینکه او را دید، به سویش دوید، او را در آغوش گرفت و جایگاه کامل فرزندی را به او بازگرداند. هویت او تغییر نکرده بود؛ فقط جایگاهش تغییر کرده بود.
وقتی سقوط میکنیم، دو صدا به گوش میرسد. یکی میگوید: «تو لیاقت نداری، دور بمان.» این صدای محکومیت است. اما صدای دیگر آرام و پرمحبت است: «به خانه برگرد، تو بخشیده شدهای.» خدا ارزش تو را بر اساس عملکردت تعیین نمیکند.
رحمت او بزرگتر از هر اشتباهی است. کافی است بازگردی و آن را بپذیری.
دعای امروز
خداوندا، سپاسگزارم که رحمت تو از اشتباهات من بزرگتر است و گذشتهام را علیه من به حساب نمیآوری. کمکم کن صدای محکومیت را خاموش کنم و دعوت محبتآمیز تو را بپذیرم. امروز با اطمینان به سوی تو میآیم و فیض تو را دریافت میکنم. آمین.
