Today’s Word
Before King Saul ever called for him, David had already been anointed by the prophet Samuel to be the next king of Israel. He heard the promise, felt the oil upon his head, and experienced the Spirit of the Lord come upon him with power. Yet after that extraordinary moment, he returned to the shepherds’ fields. No palace. No crown. Just sheep and solitude.
David understood a powerful truth: God defines identity, not environment. Though his surroundings were humble, his mindset remained royal. He cared for the sheep with excellence and courage, protecting them from danger as if he were already leading a nation. When the day came to face Goliath, he was ready. The field had prepared him for the throne.
If you feel hidden, overlooked, or far from what has been promised, remember that where you are is not who you are. Seasons of obscurity are often training grounds for greater influence. Stay faithful in the fields. Think like who God says you are. In due time, the promotion will come.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You that my identity comes from You and not from my circumstances. Help me remain faithful and excellent in every season, even when no one is watching. I trust that You are preparing me for the greater things You have promised. Amen.

Enne kui kuningas Saul Taaveti enda juurde kutsus, oli prohvet Saamuel ta juba Iisraeli tulevaseks kuningaks võidnud. Ta kuulis tõotust ja tundis Jumala Vaimu väge, kuid naasis siiski karjamaale lambaid hoidma.
Taavet mõistis, et tema identiteeti ei määra olukord, vaid Jumal. Kuigi ta keskkond oli tagasihoidlik, jäi tema mõtteviis kuninglikuks. Ta oli ustav väikestes asjades ning see valmistas teda ette suuremateks ülesanneteks.
Kui tunned, et oled praegu “karjamaal”, ära lase oma olukorral röövida Jumala tõotust. Kus sa oled, ei määra seda, kes sa oled. Jää ustavaks — sinu aeg tuleb.

Jumal, tänan Sind, et minu väärtus ja kutsumus tulevad Sinult, mitte minu olukorrast. Aita mul olla ustav ja anda oma parim igas eluetapis. Ma usaldan, et Sa juhid mind oma tõotuste täitumiseni. Aamen.

پیش از آنکه شائول داوود را به قصر بخواند، سموئیل نبی او را بهعنوان پادشاه آینده اسرائیل مسح کرده بود. داوود وعده را شنید و حضور قدرتمند روح خدا را تجربه کرد، اما دوباره به چراگاه بازگشت.
او فهمیده بود که هویت او را محیط اطرافش تعیین نمیکند، بلکه خدا تعیین میکند. اگرچه در ظاهر چوپان بود، اما با ذهنیت یک پادشاه زندگی میکرد. در همان دشتها با وفاداری و شجاعت خدمت کرد و همانجا برای آیندهاش آماده شد.
اگر احساس میکنی اکنون در «چراگاه» هستی، اجازه نده شرایطت وعده خدا را از تو بگیرد. جایی که هستی، هویت تو نیست. وفادار بمان؛ زمان تو خواهد رسید.
دعای امروز
خداوندا، سپاسگزارم که هویت و دعوت من از توست، نه از شرایط اطرافم. به من کمک کن در هر فصل از زندگی وفادار و کوشا باشم. اعتماد دارم که مرا به جایگاه برکت و وعدههایت خواهی رساند. آمین.
