Today’s Word:
In 2 Kings 4, a wealthy woman from Shunem had everything—except the one thing her heart longed for: a child. She had tried and waited for years. By the time the prophet Elisha came along, hope had faded. When he declared she would have a son, her immediate reaction wasn’t excitement—it was pain disguised as caution: “Don’t get my hopes up.”
Sometimes, when we’ve waited too long, or been disappointed too many times, it feels safer not to hope at all. But God is not limited by our doubts. He doesn’t always need perfect faith—sometimes He just needs a heart that’s still open, even a little, to receive.
That woman did have a child—not because she believed, but because God is merciful. Maybe there’s a dream you’ve quietly let go of, something that once mattered deeply. God saw it then, and He hasn’t forgotten it now. He’s still in the business of surprising us with His grace. It’s not too late. It’s not too far. It’s not too good to be true.

“God, thank You that You are the miracle-working God who makes impossible things possible. Even when I struggle to believe, I trust that Your love and mercy never fail. I choose to hope again and to expect Your goodness. Amen.”

وقتی سال‌ها منتظر چیزی بودی و هنوز اتفاقی نیفتاده، طبیعیه که امیدت کم بشه.
اما خدا می‌گه: «تو شاید ناامید شدی، ولی من هنوز کارم تموم نشده.»
مثل زن شونمی، خدا می‌تونه چیزی رو بهت بده که حتی دیگه جرأت نمی‌کنی بهش فکر کنی.
