When the Israelites journeyed through the wilderness, they faced test after test—yet instead of growing in faith, they grumbled. They forgot the miracles: freedom from Egypt, the parting of the Red Sea, daily manna from heaven. Despite all this, they doubted God’s goodness and feared the worst. Their failure to grow in faith kept them wandering for forty years, never reaching the Promised Land.
Like them, we face deserts—seasons of waiting, discomfort, and uncertainty. But these moments aren’t meant to break us; they’re meant to build us. How you respond to adversity determines how far you’ll go. Stay faithful, trust God’s timing, and see every trial as a chance to rise higher. The Promised Land is ahead, but the desert is the place where your character is shaped to handle it.
Prayer For Today
“God, thank You that You are working out Your plan for my life in Your best way, including the difficult times when You test the quality of my faith. Thank You that You are preparing me for the next thing You have for me. Help me to always be faithful to You and pass the test. Amen.”
Tänane Sõna: Läbi kõrbe – kasvada usu läbi
Iisraellased ei kasvanud raskustes, vaid nurisesid ja kibestusid. Nad unustasid, et Jumal vabastas nad orjusest, lahutas Punase mere, toitis neid igal hommikul managa. Selle asemel, et usaldada, kahtlesid nad ja ütlesid: „Miks sa, Mooses, tõid meid siia surema?“ Seetõttu nad ekslesid 40 aastat ja ei jõudnud tõotatud maale.

کلام امروز: بیابان، جایی برای رشد و آزمون ایمان
قوم اسرائیل در بیابان به جای رشد در ایمان، شکایت و تلخی پیشه کردند. با وجود معجزات عظیم، مانند نجات از بردگی، شکافته شدن دریا، و منِ روزانه، باز هم گفتند: «چرا ما را به بیابان آوردی تا بمیریم؟» عدم رشد ایمانی آن‌ها را از ورود به سرزمین وعده بازداشت.
بیابان‌های زندگی ما هم واقعی‌اند: زمان‌هایی پر از انتظار و ناآرامی. اما این فصول، فرصت رشد و اثبات ایمان هستند. نحوه‌ی مواجهه‌ی ما با سختی‌ها، آینده‌مان را رقم می‌زند. با وفاداری و ایمان، از این آزمون‌ها عبور کن—سرزمین وعده پیش روی توست.
