Today’s Word: “The Power of Obedience”
Naaman was a great military leader, but he was offended when Elisha told him to wash in the Jordan River seven times to be healed.
He thought the solution should be grander, more logical.
It made no sense to him.
He almost missed his miracle because of pride and doubt.
But in the end, he obeyed. And on the seventh dip, he was healed.
Naaman’s healing wasn’t in the water—it was in the obedience.
He didn’t even have much faith, but obedience opened the door to God’s reward.
You may not feel full of faith either. You may be tired, discouraged, or confused.
But keep doing the right thing, even when it’s hard.
Obedience today can lead to breakthrough tomorrow.

“God, thank You that You are the true and living God and that You reward those who honor and obey You. Thank You that my obedience can never earn Your blessing but it can lead to it. I believe that when I am doing the right thing You will reward me with favor. Amen.”

نعمان، فرمانده‌ی بزرگ ارتش سوریه بود،
اما وقتی الیشع به او گفت که هفت بار در رود اردن غسل کند، دلگیر شد.
او انتظار داشت راه‌حلش باشکوه‌تر یا منطقی‌تر باشد.
تقریباً معجزه‌اش را به‌خاطر غرور و تردید از دست داد.
اما در نهایت اطاعت کرد—و در بار هفتم، شفا یافت.
شفای نعمان در آب نبود—در اطاعت بود.
او حتی ایمان قوی‌ای نداشت؛ منفی، شاکی، و ناامید بود.
اما اطاعتش، در را به‌سوی رحمت خدا باز کرد.
شاید تو هم امروز احساس پر از ایمان بودن نداری.
اما همچنان کار درست را انجام بده.
اطاعت امروز می‌تواند درِ گشایش فردا باشد.

“خدایا، شکر که تو خدای زنده و حقیقی هستی و به کسانی که تو را حرمت می‌نهند و اطاعت می‌کنند، پاداش می‌دهی. می‌دانم اطاعتم شایستگی برکت را نمی‌آورد، ولی می‌تواند مرا به آن برساند. ایمان دارم وقتی کار درست را انجام دهم، فیض و لطف تو بر من جاری خواهد شد. آمین.”
