Today’s Word
After forty years of wandering in the wilderness, the nation of Israel stood on the threshold of the Promised Land. Yet, between them and their inheritance lay seven nations—each larger, stronger, and more powerful than they were. From a natural perspective, victory seemed impossible. But God gave Moses a promise: “I will go before you and drive them out.”
He reminded them to recall His mighty deliverance from Pharaoh, to remember the impossible doors He had already opened, and to trust that He would once again fight for them.
You too will face moments when the odds seem stacked against you—whether it’s illness, addiction, opposition, or overwhelming challenges. On your own, you may be outnumbered or outmatched, but you are not on your own. The God who governs the universe is your defender, your deliverer, and your path-clearer. What seems insurmountable to you is no challenge to Him.
Prayer for Today
God, thank You for the strength that rises within me when I remember all You have done—how You opened closed doors and overcame challenges that were far beyond my ability. I choose not to fear, but to trust that You will go before me, clear the path, and bring victory. Amen.
