Today’s Word
In Daniel 3, three young Hebrew men were thrown into the fiery furnace because they refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol. The flames were so fierce that they should have perished instantly, yet the God who commands fire and rules the universe—the fourth man—was with them. He surrounded them with His presence and protection, and not a hair on their heads was harmed.
You may feel as though you are walking through fire today—facing pressures, obstacles, or struggles that seem overwhelming. The flames around you may appear strong, but remember: our God is stronger. That sickness is not the end, that addiction is not the conclusion, that setback is not your story. The fourth man is about to appear, turning what seemed meant for harm into the very thing that lifts you higher. No matter what surrounds you, know this—God surrounds it all.
Prayer for Today
God, thank You that when I face fires and battles, I am never alone. Thank You that You are with me, surrounding me with Your presence, even when I cannot see it. I choose peace, knowing that You are greater than anything that rises against me. Amen.
