Today’s Word
While imprisoned in Philippi, Paul the Apostle and Silas had been unjustly beaten and chained for sharing their faith. They had every natural reason to complain. Yet instead of allowing injustice to steal their joy, they chose praise. At midnight, in the darkest hour, they lifted their voices in worship.
Their response changed the atmosphere. Scripture records that a sudden earthquake shook the prison, doors opened, and chains fell away. Their freedom began not with the earthquake, but with their attitude. Praise preceded breakthrough.
When you refuse to surrender your joy during adversity, you position yourself for divine intervention. Praise shifts focus from the problem to the One who is greater than the problem. Strength rises. Peace settles in. And often, doors begin to open in ways you could not foresee. What looks like confinement today can become the setting for tomorrow’s miracle.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You that You are present with me in every circumstance, just as You were with Paul and Silas. When situations feel unfair or uncertain, help me to respond with praise instead of complaint. Strengthen my heart with Your joy and work out Your purpose in my life. Amen.

Kui Paulus ja Siilas olid vangis, olid nad ebaõiglaselt pekstud ja aheldatud. Neil oli põhjust nuriseda, kuid nad otsustasid hoopis Jumalat kiita. Keset ööd, kõige pimedamal hetkel, tõstsid nad oma hääled ülistuseks.

Kui sa hoiad rõõmu ka raskustes, annab Jumal sulle jõu ning võib avada uksi, mida sa ei osanud oodata. Kiitus tõstab pilgu probleemilt Kõigekõrgemale ning toob südamesse rahu ja kindluse.

Jumal, tänan Sind, et Sa oled minuga igas olukorras. Aita mul rasketel aegadel valida kiitus, mitte kaebamine. Täida mind oma rõõmuga ja vii täide oma plaan minu elus. Aamen.

وقتی پولس و سیلاس در زندان بودند، بیدلیل کتک خورده و در زنجیر بسته شده بودند. آنها میتوانستند شکایت کنند و تلخ شوند، اما به جای آن خدا را در نیمهشب ستایش کردند. در تاریکترین لحظه، سرود شکرگزاری از دلشان برخاست.
همین نگرش فضا را تغییر داد. زمین لرزید، درهای زندان باز شد و زنجیرها فرو افتاد. آزادی آنها پیش از معجزه، در دلشان آغاز شد.
وقتی در میان سختیها شادی و پرستش خود را حفظ میکنی، خدا وارد عمل میشود. او قدرت ایستادگی میدهد و راهی میگشاید که پیش از آن دیده نمیشد.
دعای امروز
خداوندا، سپاسگزارم که همانگونه که با پولس و سیلاس بودی، با من نیز هستی. در زمانهای سخت کمکم کن به جای شکایت، تو را ستایش کنم. شادی تو قوت من است و به نقشه نیکوی تو اعتماد دارم. آمین.
