Today’s Word
Throughout Scripture, God often called people by a name that reflected their future rather than their present situation. He called Gideon a mighty warrior when Gideon felt weak and hidden. He raised David to defeat giants when he was only a young shepherd. He transformed Paul the Apostle into a chosen instrument to carry the message of faith to many nations.
In each case, their circumstances did not match what God declared over them. Yet God sees potential long before it becomes visible to others. He speaks identity and purpose into a person’s life before the fulfillment appears. When individuals choose to believe that calling and allow it to shape their mindset, their lives begin to move toward the destiny God prepared for them.
Your identity is not defined by present limitations, past mistakes, or the opinions of others. When you begin to see yourself through God’s perspective—as valued, capable, and called—you open the door for courage, perseverance, and growth. Often the future God prepares is far greater than what a person can imagine at the moment they first hear His calling.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You that You know me personally and call me by name. Help me to see my life through Your perspective rather than through fear or limitation. Remind me that I am created with purpose and that Your plans for me are good. Strengthen my faith so that I may live according to the identity You have given me. Amen.

خداوندا، سپاسگزارم که مرا به نام میشناسی و مرا از آنِ خود میدانی. کمکم کن خودم را از نگاه تو ببینم. ایمانم را تقویت کن تا مطابق هویتی که به من دادهای زندگی کنم. آمین.
