Today’s Word
Imagine being taken from your home in Jerusalem and living as a Jewish exile in Babylon for many years, then hearing God say, “Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you” (Zechariah 9:12).
For those captives, returning to Jerusalem required more than simply changing their location—it required changing what they believed about their future. They had experienced hardship, loss, and disappointment. It would have been easy to think, “There is no way things can become good again.” But God was calling them to become prisoners of hope rather than prisoners of fear, doubt, or defeat.
You may have experienced troubles, disappointments, unfair situations, or people who treated you wrongly. The enemy may have intended those things to stop your purpose, but God can turn them around for your good. What looks like a loss today does not have to determine what your tomorrow will look like.
Don’t remain stuck in what happened. Keep your hope alive. God is still working, even when you cannot see how. Be ready for new opportunities, greater favor, renewed strength, and blessings beyond what you expected. Your difficult season does not have the final word.
Prayer For Today
“God, thank You that You are on the throne and that You are working even through the greatest difficulties in my life. Thank You for calling me to be a prisoner of hope, not of doubt, fear, or defeat. Help me to keep believing when I cannot yet see the way forward. I believe that You can turn my difficulties into opportunities and bring restoration and abundance into my life. Amen.”

تصور کن که از خانهات در اورشلیم به اجبار برده شدهای و سالها بهعنوان یک یهودی در تبعید در بابل زندگی کردهای؛ سپس میشنوی که خدا میگوید: «به دژ بازگردید، ای اسیران امید؛ حتی امروز اعلام میکنم که دو برابر به شما بازخواهم گرداند» (زکریا ۹:۱۲).
برای آن اسیران، بازگشت به اورشلیم فقط تغییر مکان نبود؛ بلکه نیازمند تغییر دیدگاه آنها نسبت به آینده بود. آنها سختی، فقدان و ناامیدی را تجربه کرده بودند. بهراحتی میتوانستند فکر کنند: «دیگر هیچ راهی وجود ندارد که زندگی ما دوباره خوب شود.» اما خدا آنها را فراخواند تا اسیر امید باشند، نه اسیر ترس، شک و شکست.
ممکن است تو نیز سختیها، ناامیدیها، بیعدالتیها یا رفتار نادرست دیگران را تجربه کرده باشی. دشمن شاید قصد داشته باشد از این شرایط برای متوقف کردن هدف تو استفاده کند، اما خدا میتواند همان چیزها را به نفع تو تغییر دهد. چیزی که امروز شبیه یک فقدان به نظر میرسد، مجبور نیست آینده تو را تعیین کند.
در آنچه اتفاق افتاده متوقف نمان. امیدت را زنده نگه دار. خدا حتی زمانی که نمیتوانی ببینی چگونه، همچنان در حال عمل کردن است. خودت را برای فرصتهای تازه، لطف بیشتر، قوتی نو و برکتهایی فراتر از انتظارت آماده کن. دوران سخت تو آخرین کلام را درباره زندگیات نخواهد گفت.
دعای امروز
«خدایا، از تو سپاسگزارم که بر تخت سلطنت نشستهای و حتی در بزرگترین سختیهای زندگی من در حال عمل هستی. از تو سپاسگزارم که مرا فرا میخوانی تا اسیر امید باشم، نه اسیر شک، ترس یا شکست. کمکم کن حتی زمانی که هنوز راه پیش رو را نمیبینم، همچنان ایمان داشته باشم. ایمان دارم که تو میتوانی سختیهای مرا به فرصت تبدیل کنی و احیا، برکت و فراوانی را وارد زندگی من کنی. آمین.»
