About Me

Who Am I?
The question of who am I? is one that has no fixed answer. As life unfolds, we continuously rediscover ourselves, shaped by experiences, reflections, and evolving perspectives. This journey of self-awareness is a shared human experience—one that binds us all in the search for meaning.
Life is a crossroads where philosophy and reality meet. Through the lens of existential psychology, I embrace four fundamental concerns: mortality, meaning, isolation, and freedom. I am acutely aware of my mortality, and this awareness humbles me at every stage of my life. It is a reminder that time is fleeting, and with it comes the responsibility to live meaningfully.
What is meaningful for me?
Two meanings have become paramount to me as life has progressed:
1. The Biological Meaning – From an evolutionary perspective, our species’ survival hinges on procreation. As the only known intelligent beings, we carry an innate commitment to passing knowledge, wisdom, and life itself to the next generation.
2. The Intellectual Meaning – Beyond biology, the essence of our existence lies in making the next generation better. But better is a relative concept—one shaped by time, culture, and context. However, the human potential remains vast and largely untapped. The opportunities for growth, innovation, and enlightenment are boundless. We are in the middle of the journey, continuously refining what it means to be human.
