Today’s Word
The heroes of faith described in Hebrews 11 came from many different ages, personalities, and backgrounds. They included shepherds, leaders, prophets, judges, a former prostitute, martyrs, and people who endured persecution. Their circumstances were very different, and so were the challenges they faced. Yet they shared one defining quality: strong faith in God.
Scripture describes them as people “of whom the world was not worthy.” Their lives were not free from hardship, uncertainty, or sacrifice. But when they faced difficult circumstances, they chose faith. Their stories remind us that faith is not reserved for a particular type of person. God can work through ordinary people who choose to trust Him and remain faithful.
The list of people who live by faith is not finished. Your name can also be associated with those words: “By faith.” You may not know exactly what your story will look like, but you can choose faithfulness today. You can face opposition with courage, persevere through difficult seasons, stand for what is right, help those who have fallen, forgive wrongs, give generously, and refuse to give up when the journey becomes difficult.
Great faith is not only demonstrated through extraordinary miracles. It is also revealed through everyday decisions to love, serve, forgive, persevere, and trust God. You have what you need to take the next step of faith. Let your life become another testimony of what God can do through someone who chooses to believe.
Prayer For Today
God, thank You for the heroes of faith described in Scripture, whom You honored for their perseverance, courage, and trust in You. Thank You for their example of remaining faithful through hardship, uncertainty, and sacrifice. I want my life to be marked by those same words: “By faith.” Help me trust You when the way is difficult, remain faithful when I cannot see the outcome, show generosity and kindness, forgive others, lift those who are struggling, and refuse to give up. May my life become a testimony of Your faithfulness and grace. Amen.

Heebrea kirja 11. peatükis kirjeldatud usukangelased olid väga erineva vanuse, iseloomu ja taustaga. قهرمانان ایمان که در عبرانیان باب ۱۱ معرفی شده‌اند، از نظر سن، شخصیت و پیشینه بسیار متفاوت بودند. در میان آنها شبانان، رهبران، پیامبران، داوران، یک زن با گذشته‌ای گناه‌آلود، شهیدان و کسانی بودند که آزار و جفا را تحمل کردند. شرایط و آزمایش‌های آنها بسیار متفاوت بود، اما یک چیز همه‌ی آنها را به هم پیوند می‌داد: ایمان قوی به خدا.
کتاب‌مقدس درباره‌ی آنها می‌گوید که «دنیا شایسته‌ی آنان نبود». زندگی آنها بدون سختی، ابهام یا فداکاری نبود. اما وقتی با شرایط دشوار روبه‌رو می‌شدند، ایمان را انتخاب می‌کردند. داستان آنها به ما یادآوری می‌کند که ایمان فقط برای گروه خاصی از مردم نیست. خدا می‌تواند از طریق انسان‌های معمولی نیز کار کند؛ انسان‌هایی که تصمیم می‌گیرند به او اعتماد کنند و وفادار بمانند.
فهرست کسانی که با ایمان زندگی می‌کنند هنوز کامل نشده است. نام تو نیز می‌تواند با این عبارت همراه شود: «به وسیله‌ی ایمان.» شاید هنوز ندانی داستان زندگی تو دقیقاً چگونه خواهد بود، اما می‌توانی امروز وفاداری را انتخاب کنی. می‌توانی با شجاعت با مخالفت‌ها روبه‌رو شوی، در فصل‌های دشوار استقامت کنی، برای آنچه درست است بایستی، دست افتادگان را بگیری، خطاهای دیگران را ببخشی، سخاوتمند باشی و زمانی که مسیر دشوار می‌شود تسلیم نشوی.
ایمان بزرگ فقط در معجزات خارق‌العاده دیده نمی‌شود. ایمان در تصمیم‌های روزمره‌ی ما برای محبت کردن، خدمت کردن، بخشیدن، استقامت کردن و اعتماد به خدا نیز آشکار می‌شود. آنچه برای برداشتن قدم بعدی در ایمان لازم داری، در اختیار توست. بگذار زندگی تو نیز شهادتی باشد از آنچه خدا می‌تواند از طریق انسانی انجام دهد که تصمیم می‌گیرد ایمان داشته باشد.
دعای امروز
خدایا، تو را برای قهرمانان ایمان که در کتاب‌مقدس از آنها یاد شده است شکر می‌کنم؛ کسانی که تو به خاطر پایداری، شجاعت و اعتمادشان به تو به آنها احترام گذاشتی. برای نمونه‌ی آنها در وفادار ماندن در میان سختی، ابهام و فداکاری شکرگزارم. می‌خواهم زندگی من نیز با این کلمات شناخته شود: «به وسیله‌ی ایمان.» کمکم کن وقتی مسیر دشوار است به تو اعتماد کنم، زمانی که نتیجه را نمی‌بینم وفادار بمانم، سخاوتمند و مهربان باشم، دیگران را ببخشم، دست کسانی را که در سختی هستند بگیرم و تسلیم نشوم. باشد که زندگی من شهادتی از وفاداری و فیض تو باشد. آمین
